Dar Sidi means “my grandfather's house”. I'm Danial, his grandson, and I look after it. Grab a bed, bring your crew, or take the whole house.

The story

About 100 years of stories, and room for yours.

This house was built in the 1920s, and it belonged to my grandfather (سيدي sidi). The terrazzo floors, the high ceilings and the old double doors with their iron patterns are still here.

Today I keep the house and open it to travellers: solo backpackers, friends, youth groups. You get a real Palestinian family home, not a hotel.

— Danial, Sidi's grandson

Every guest is a stitch

In tatreez, Palestinian embroidery, every tiny cross-stitch adds to the whole dress. That's how I think of guests: each stay adds a stitch to the story of the house.
